Inside the wooded forest where Gondor and Mordor meet, lies a creature from another dimension. Thrusted upon into the Realm of Middle Earth this beast sports the red skin of snake, tusks like a forgotten dinosaur from another time and a face that resembles the ancient mastodon of the glacial times. Our scientists tried to classify this jurassic resembling beast as a ceratopsid reborn from long ago, but its thirst for power and sharp mind we learned that this being is like no other. It is with great mystery, respect and awe that we nameth tee: Crimson Oliphaunt, the Jurassic Pachyderm.

The Crimson Oliphaunt was made out of inspiration from the Jurassic Park series and Lord of the Rings films, pretty obvious don't you think? Even with this daunting inspirational task, this PC down to its chassis is like no other especially with its gold painted chassis and water block. Aside from that, this gaming rig features a top of the like motherboard, CPU and VGA (at time of building); for more power, just add RAMs and more GPUs. This computer will be used to play FFXIV Online and BF4 among other, I must say I kinda feel bad for the opposing party.

Hints for building a similar PC:

  1. Don't be afraid to take out all the plastic bezels apart, you will find better ways to hide and thread your cables.

  2. If you want to put your H110 on top sandwiched between 2 x 140mm fans, your going to have to cut the top bezel's center support beam. You might think that cutting a support beam will damage the case, but we tested this before doing so. What we did is cut it just enough to let it sit on top of the edges of the LED fans installed beneath the top bezel, so its support function will still be met.

  3. If you do put a 280mm radiator on top with 2 x 140mm fans beneath it, you will notice that the fan next to the chassis exhaust will not fit (if you have a chassis exhaust fan installed). You will have to cut some excess metallic ledges about 1" into it to make it fit; this will not compromise the case.

  4. You can sleep tight tonight, the Crimson Oliphaunt is a made up beast... or is it?
